Meet the Doctor

Kyle Houston, DMD

Dr. Kyle Houston grew up in Mapleton, Utah and graduated from Springville High School along with his wife, Felicia. He enjoyed playing ice hockey and longboarding with his friends. After serving a church mission in Seoul, South Korea, he completed his undergraduate studies in Exercise Sciences at Brigham Young University. Next, Dr. Houston attended dental school at Roseman University College of Dental Medicine located in South Jordan, Utah. It was here that his passion for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery began to grow and he earned multiple awards, particularly in head and neck pathology.

Dr. Houston and his family then moved across the country to Knoxville, Tennessee to pursue training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the renowned University of Tennessee Medical Center. Here he received extensive training in head and neck benign and malignant pathology and reconstructive surgery, orthognathic surgery (or jaw corrective surgery), facial trauma surgery, and oral surgery office procedures like dental extractions, wisdom teeth surgery, dental implant surgery, and IV sedation.

After serving as Chief Resident and graduating, Dr. Houston and his family (now four children) moved back to Utah where he has clinics in Springville and Delta. He continues to respond to facial trauma calls at Utah Valley Hospital and enjoys privileges at other hospitals including Intermountain Medical Center, Lone Peak Hospital, Timpanogos Hospital, and Spanish Fork Hospital. He also participates in local and national dental organizations including the Utah Dental Association, Utah Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Association, and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. In his free time, Dr. Houston enjoys being outside with his family. When he isn’t fishing or teaching his kids how to ice skate, he’s cheering on the University of Tennessee Vols from afar.
